Not much to say
Jul 18th
Had a very busy week setting up some new customers with managed servers.
I’ll be writing some documents about managed infrastructure in the coming weeks, but you can see one of my old posts that I did on my personal blog months ago to whet your appetite.
Another of the issues that bothers me is large companies sticking it hard to individual users. A recent Wired article talks about a DMCA takedown notice given to Youtube about a woman who posted her child dancing to a Prince song that was later reinstated on Youtube. Did Universal go to far? What is fair use? You can see the Wired blog titled Universal Says DMCA Takedown Notices Can Ignore ‘Fair Use’.
See you next week!
Great customer service

It all starts with customer service.
From there people will buy your <thing>.
Today I talk about Apple.
Last year I had a buzzing noise in my Mac Book Pro, read the support site, talked to the people on the phone, and finally brought it in. Problem with the inverter and it needs to be replaced.
Grr, I don’t want to go without it!
Last Friday, a good friend of mine had a problem with his Mac Book Pro, though different, received the same response as I gave, and needed the same kind of love.
Postfix and antispam
Jul 15th
I had originally written this for my personal blog and reposting here with some updates.
Wow, there are a lot of bad documentation links out there on the interTRON.
For the $ayjob, I have been battling spam for quite some time and continue to look for new ways to put a stop to this abuse. The hard part? One persons spam is another persons legit email, it is so completely difficult to do something that makes everyone happy.
